Blending - using the blending modes to layer papers, digi brushes, etc. I can layer mists, paints, etc. using traditional supplies, but with digital, I can get the additional transparency and mix 'n' match elements.

I have several. Extractions and blending would be my two favorite techniques.
Masking would be my other one. Actually I think I use masks on almost every LO I do.

I love blending and also adding styles, to completely change something's look. I also love the neatness of my project...no messes to clean up afterwards, LOL.
