It is critical that you adhere to the following guidelines or your artwork will not be considered for publication.
Please Submit Your Projects with the Following in Mind:
- Artwork can be traditional, hybrid or digital.
- Layouts can be any size. For example, 6x6, 6x12, 8x8, 8.5x11 or 12x12.
- If it’s for a specific theme, read the description carefully and tailor your artwork based on that call’s requirements.
Projects That Are Already Posted on the Internet:
There are no restrictions on whether your artwork has been posted to an online gallery, blog or other site, but we respectfully ask that you take it down upon request for information.
Please note that many in-print magazines have restrictions about artwork that has been published by them being resubmitted to other publications, online or otherwise. If you’ve been published before, it is strongly recommended that you read your contract with them to protect yourself.
Image Guidelines
- All images need to be at least 650x650 or 650 on the longest side.
- Images must be tightly cropped.
- We do not accept images with watermarks or text on them.
- No generic camera setting labels or your project will be disqualified.
- You must name or label your image or picture with the title of the layout or the project and your last name. An example would be: WinterWishesSmith.jpg
- We do not publish supply lists with live links to outside sources including digital kits or communities. However, we will try to keep as much info as possible so it’s easy for our readers to find them.
- There are many times when we can't make heads or tails of provided supply lists. If your supply list isn't formatted correctly, it's because items were either out of order or weren't labeled properly. Please keep that in mind while submitting your supply list.
Information to Know
- You must register on our site before sending in your submissions. This will ensure that we’re able to properly contact you as well as authorize you to view the magazine should your artwork be accepted for publication.
- Due to the large volume of submissions we receive on a monthly basis, you will only be contacted upon acceptance of artwork.
