Info to Know

I really enjoy looking to posters and ads for inspiration. They provide you with awesome design inspiration as well as fabulous color combos. This poster, found at http://telegramme.co.uk/, has me wanting to create a layout or a card with the focal point in the bottom right-hand corner, along with some paper strips, paint drips and whatever else can be imagined coming down the side. The colors are also a perfect combination for Valentine’s Day.

I created this sketch with a purpose to use wallet size photos. I have so many of them from kid’s school pictures and I wanted something that would be perfect to create a layout using them. The curve of the paper gives an extra little touch that complements any style. You can go Clean and Simple or Shabby Chic or something in-between; any style will capture the essence of this sketch.

Rainbow Quote Canvas by Scarlett Salamone Supplies Patterned Paper: Bella Boulevard, Echo Park; Letters: Recollections; Stamp: American Crafts; Paint: Ranger, Gesso, Gel Medium: Liquitex; Molding Paste: Golden; Mist: Shimmerz, Lindy’s Stamp Gang; Stencil; The Crafter’s Workshop; Other: Stretched Canvas
If you’re anything like me you’ve got about a billion quotes tucked here and there waiting for the right project. Instead of keeping them hidden away, I decided now would be a good time to start displaying some of my favorites. By using a canvas, or any other material imaginable, you can quickly create a masterpiece for your home reflecting things you believe in.

I'm Tracey and my focus is equally split between card making and scrapbooking layouts. Lately, I've found myself dabbling in mixed media projects as well. I don't think I have a defined style; all of my projects are different.
