This fun little box started out as an experiment but I love the simplicity so much, I thought I'd share it with you. But I must apologize for not having pics as I created it since that was not my intention when I started. I learned a lesson there myself!

Everyone gives gift cards at one time or another. Birthdays, showers, weddings, holidays, we seem to have an over abundance of them to hand out! Here is a quick and easy gift card holder that I like to make and use!

They say all you have to do is look at the world around you to find inspiration. And there are certainly a plethora of images and ideas to satisfy our needs for creative inspiration, but sometimes it's spending time inside our own heads that provides all the muse we need.
I paused when I came across this picture on the internet and as my eyes drank it all in, I felt a sudden peace I hadn't felt in awhile. A pleasant feeling considering my life has been utter chaos lately. Although I had another inspiration piece selected for this week, I knew I wanted to share this one.
The depth of emotion, the calm, soothing color palette and the imagery (implied and otherwise) all lend well to finding that creative spark that will jumpstart your next paper crafting project. How will you use it?
It's been awhile since we've shared Inspiration Pieces with you and to kick this off right, I've started a group on our site, complete with discussion board and a gallery. Every Tuesday, we'll post an inspiration piece for you to draw inspiration from and you can put your projects inside the group's gallery. Some of the SNR staffers will also be participating and adding their own artwork. Fun, right?
